Week 1 — JavaScript Foundations, Refreshed for Real Projects
Modern JS essentials, array/object methods used in real code, async JS (promises, async/await, fetch), ES modules & npm basics.
Week 2 — Browser APIs, TypeScript Basics & JS Patterns
DOM & events, JSON/localStorage/forms, debugging with devtools, intro TypeScript used for the rest of the course.
Week 3 — React Fundamentals
Components, JSX, props, state, conditional rendering, lists & keys, useState/useEffect/useRef, controlled forms.
Week 4 — React, Deeper
useContext/useReducer/custom hooks, data-fetching patterns, loading/error states, performance basics.
Week 5 — Next.js Fundamentals (App Router)
SSR/SSG/CSR explained, App Router file conventions, routing/layouts, Server vs Client Components.
Week 6 — The Backend Side of a Next.js App
Route Handlers, a database with Prisma, auth basics, server actions & form submissions, file uploads.
Week 7 — Styling, Polish & Production Concerns
Tailwind CSS, responsive design & accessibility basics, SEO, error boundaries, performance (next/image, next/font).
Week 8 — Capstone Project Build + Deployment
Guided live build of the one real project, live code reviews, deploying to Vercel, wrap-up + resume guidance.
